Human hair wigs have changed quite a bit in recent years. They can now be custom made and look much better than wigs did many years ago. There are quite a few people who actually choose to have these wigs made from their own hair.

If you are interested in creating your own human hair wigs, you should:

• Cut properly – Those who are interested in using their own hair for creating human hair wigs should put their hair into several small ponytails and then proceed to cut their hair about a couple of inches above the rubber band.
• Do not shave – You cannot shave your head if you are hoping to have human hair wigs made from your own hair. Shaving makes it more difficult to re-use the hair.
• Be patient – If you have done your part in properly cutting your hair to make human hair wigs, there still is no guarantee that everything else that needs to be done will take place immediately. Making wigs from natural human hair is a meticulous process that takes time to do the right way.

Be wary of any company that promises fast results. They may sacrifice the quality of the wig just to get it done quickly. Human hair wigs that use others’ hair can be purchased, but if a person has the opportunity, they often prefer to buy the wigs that are made form their own hair.
